The Oaks Veterinary Clinic Equine and Farm Services are proud to offer specially designed wellness packages to our equine clients. They are designed to provide the highest level of care to the horse and the most value for the owner.

A critical portion of our wellness program is an annual physical exam. This allows our large animal veterinarians to get to know your horse, identify medical problems early, and discuss important preventative medicine topics such as dental care, parasite control and nutrition.

In addition to the exam, your horse will receive needed vaccines and annual coggins tests.

WELLNESS PROGRAM #1

Program 1 includes the following:

• Annual physical exam
  
• Annual dental exam
  
• Annual nutrition and parasite control counseling
  
• Annual Coggins (EIA) test
  
• Annual Rabies vaccination
  
• Semi-annual vaccination for Eastern Equine
• Encephalitis, Western Equine Encephalitis, West Nile Virus and Tetanus (EWT/WNV)
  

This program is designed for horses that do not travel or come into contact with other horses.

WELLNESS PROGRAM #2

Program 2 includes the following:

• Annual physical exam
  
• Annual dental exam
  
• Annual nutrition and parasite control counseling
  
• Annual Coggins (EIA) test
  
• Annual Rabies vaccination
  
• Semi-annual vaccination for Eastern Equine Encephalitis,
• Western Equine Encephalitis, West Nile Virus, Tetanus, Equine Influenza, and Rhinopneumonitis (FREWT)
  

This program is designed for trail, rodeo and show horses as well as horses kept at boarding farms.
